In 2010, One Colorado asked lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people and their
families across our state to complete a survey to determine what issues were affecting them.

The survey was provided in English and Spanish and more than 4,600 people responded. The
results shaped the priorities of the LGBTQ community, with three main themes: winning
relationship recognition, ensuring LGBTQ youth feel safe and welcome in school, and ensuring
LGBTQ people have access to health care.
We still have a lot of work to do. Make your voice heard and take One Colorado’s new
