Atlas Volunteers Share HIV Awareness, Support, Friendship With Community
How do you talk about your sexual health? Where can you go to ask questions about sex, intimacy and relationships? The Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) Atlas program provides men who have sex with men (MSM) a space to learn about HIV, sexual health and well-being — while being part of a supportive, health-focused community.
20% Of Adult MSM In Colorado Are Living With HIV
MSM are at the highest risk for HIV infection in Colorado. Each year, Atlas provides HIV testing and counseling services to more than 200 MSM. HIV testing sessions include information about Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), harm reduction and decision-making skills.
