The Interfaith AIDS Coalition (IAC) was founded in 1992 by people of faith, both clergy and lay, who wanted to compassionately address HIV and AIDS as an immediate health concern in our community. The coalition is made up of committed individuals and communities of faith.
The mission of IAC is to:
Provide monetary donations for BCAP to use for clients in emergency situations, donations for the client food bank, and support for BCAP fundraisers. Member congregations hold food drives for the food bank on a rotating monthly basis, donating hundreds of pounds of food.
Educate faith communities in Boulder, Broomfield, Gilpin, and Clear Creek counties about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the services provided by BCAP.
Advocate for attitude change — leading to action — both within and outside faith communities.
