Boulder's largest art auction, the bi-annual "ArtAIDS" silent and live auction, is taking place Saturday, April 17 at the Canyon Gallery & Theater in the Boulder Public Library.
"ArtAIDS", which was first held in 1992, has evolved to become a premier art auction in the Boulder-Denver metropolitan area, with an enthusiastic crowd of art lovers (an expected 250 attendees this year) and a wide variety of original art from regional and national artists. Works presented will include art in all media, including paintings, sculpture, prints, ceramics, jewelry and even a sampling of the culinary arts.
The auction will once again benefit the Boulder County AIDS Project (with 100% of the proceeds going towards BCAP's HIV/AIDS educational and relief services in and around Boulder County).
Plan to attend this fun, vibrant showcase for regional & national artists, which this year coincides with BCAP's 25th anniversary.
